Help When a Twitch or Kick VOD Will Not Play
A VOD that keeps loading is usually a source availability or browser issue, not a missing button. This guide gives the shortest useful checks before you report a problem.
First, check whether the replay exists
Open the original VOD link on its platform and make sure the recording has not been deleted or made private. NoSub cannot restore a source that Twitch or Kick no longer serves.
If the replay is still available, reload NoSub once. This asks the player for a fresh source instead of reusing an expired temporary link.
Fix common playback problems
Try these checks in order:
- Confirm that the pasted link is a VOD or clip link from Twitch or Kick.
- Reload the page, then start playback again.
- Choose another available quality if the selector is shown.
- Try the latest version of your browser and check that your connection is stable.
- If the video plays but the loader remains visible, wait a moment or reload; rendering has started once time and controls update.
Quality, FPS and source limits
NoSub shows the source variants the platform provides. If a VOD has a 60 FPS variant, it can appear in the quality selector; a 30 FPS source cannot be turned into real 60 FPS by the player.
The exact qualities can differ between the same streamer’s broadcasts, devices and source availability.
