Help When a Twitch or Kick VOD Will Not Play

A VOD that keeps loading is usually a source availability or browser issue, not a missing button. This guide gives the shortest useful checks before you report a problem.

First, check whether the replay exists

Open the original VOD link on its platform and make sure the recording has not been deleted or made private. NoSub cannot restore a source that Twitch or Kick no longer serves.

If the replay is still available, reload NoSub once. This asks the player for a fresh source instead of reusing an expired temporary link.

Fix common playback problems

Try these checks in order:

Quality, FPS and source limits

NoSub shows the source variants the platform provides. If a VOD has a 60 FPS variant, it can appear in the quality selector; a 30 FPS source cannot be turned into real 60 FPS by the player.

The exact qualities can differ between the same streamer’s broadcasts, devices and source availability.

FAQ

Why does a VOD keep showing Loading stream?

The platform source may be slow, expired or unavailable. Reload once, check the original VOD link, then try an available quality.

Why can I only select 30 FPS?

The platform may only expose 30 FPS for that specific replay. NoSub cannot create frames that are not present in the original source.

What should I include in a bug report?

Send the VOD URL, your device and browser, the time of the problem and a screenshot if possible. Do not include private account information.
